Kelly's first introduction to the beauty industry was in 2008 when she attended a course as a model for her sister, Leanne Law (also a CND Educator). At the time she was not interested in pursuing any sort of career within the beauty industry yet was so intrigued and interested during Leanne's course that she changed her mind! Before long Kelly found herself enrolling on her own CND course and within a few years became a CND Education Ambassador and she hasn't looked back since, She works side by side with her sister educating for CND or in their salon "Sweet Treats". She also recently helped her local college become the first CND college partnership in Scotland. Students are now finishing their beauty course as fully qualified CND nail technicians.
"I love my job and feel privileged to be educating for the most innovative and creative company within our industry. Education is the key to confidence in yourself, your abilities and your career. CND teaches us the why and how of what we are doing, which in turn gives us the knowledge and education to be able to transfer those skills to our students who in turn can begin carving out a career which they will love. We are teaching people to be able to have successful careers and in order to do so education is the key
As a CND Shellac EA this has given me the opportunity to be able to teach someone to believe in themselves which I believe is the greatest gift of all. As I work in a salon, I love that I'm hands on in the real world with all the products I educate for. When I'm teaching students I can teach from the heart because I believe in these products and I know exactly how they have been made formulated and delivered to my door. I love that CND has turned me into a wee science geek"
